트라이밸리 지역의 한인 학부모 단체인 ‘KPA’ 에 관심을 가져주셔서 감사 드립니다.

KPA는 북가주 지역에서 성장하는 한국인 학생들이 현지 교육 제도를 잘 활용 할 수 있도록 다양한 교육 정보를 제공합니다. 또한 학부모로서 자녀들이 적극적인 교육 참여 기회를 열어가도록 한국인 학생들의 학업이나 교외 활동및 자원 봉사 활동을 적극적으로 지원하는 데 목적을 두고 있습니다.


Thank you for your interest in ‘KPA’, a Korean Parents’ Association in the Tri-Valley.

KPA provides a variety of educational services to help Korean American students growing up in Northern California. In addition, as parents, we aim to actively support Korean American students' academic, extracurricular, and volunteer activities.

Korean-American Parents Association (KPA) was founded in 2003 primarily to assist new immigrants from Korea to settle in the greater tri-valley area. Since then KPA has grown to be a non-profit organization that educates Korean culture to local communities, provides opportunities for Korean-Americans in the tri-valley area to serve the community, and promote active local community involvement.

KPA recently installed Korean book collections in the City of Pleasanton Library with a support from the Overseas Koreans Foundation and the Consulate General of Korean in San Francisco. This was possible largely due to KPA’s commitment to bring Korean culture to enrich the city with diversity. The Korean book collection opening ceremony was held on October 10, 2015 in presence of the Pleasanton Mayor, Jerry Thorne, several City Council members, dignitaries from the Korean Consulate General office of SF, and Pleasanton residents. The opening ceremony was celebrated at the library with Korean traditional dances, Taekwondo demonstration, crafts, and Korean food.

KPA operates sixty book clubs, chamber orchestra, children’s choir, women’s choir, and hosts educational seminars for 1,000+ KPA members and others in the tri-valley area.

KPA is a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and your donation is tax deductible.

오케스트라와 합창단 활동으로 지역사회에 봉사합니다.

We serve our community through orchestra and choir activities.
